This question is geared more towards Travis as he is the one who recently implemented the smoothing to prevent jitter in the chest sensor.
Are there plans to allow user defined/custom threshold settings to control the precision of the chest's (or any other sensor) tracking?
I am sure this would mostly be used in motion capture however I could see where setting the precision level of the sensors could come into play with specific game environments(surgery simulators or picking a lock).
Yes, we are. In fact, it is already implemented in the Unity plugin. There is a flag to enable/disable smoothing all together, as well as a smoothing threshold to adjust how much smoothing you want to be done to the motion/rotations. It is currently full body only, not on a per-sensor basis.
Great to hear :)
